Is reality is an illusion? Is fantasy a mechanism for expression of our subconscious reality? A famous philosopher once said something to the effect that our experience in this world is equivalent to watching our shadow & that when we die we see our true self. Maybe in those magical moments when we allow our thoughts to submit to the positivity of the "Great Unknowing", love universal, love powerless and all-powerful at the same time, maybe then for a fleeting second, we catch a glimpse of our true being not just the shadow. Not sure if engaging with such thoughts is fantasy/spirituality/meditation...but whatever...oft times more real and powerful than the reality I know...or think I know???? Do-do-do-do [to be sung to the theme tune of "Twilight Zone"]Ok... I waffling now..I'll let someone else have a go.....
A#1 Would be interested to know: Do you think fantasy is a conscious, or subconscious thought process?
A#2 Hey listen, sometimes being a waffler is exactly what it takes to makes us challenge our own thoughts and feelings... so you waffle on as much as you want honey ; - )
My other blog: Please drop by anytime, and please don't be put off by the fact it's a fan-type blog, there's lots more to it than that... promise! Just click on the pic and have a look around : - )
I believe the best way to describe me would be: I am a paradox of contradiction, but that's not entirely my fault, I am a Gemini after all... oh, and I'm pretty sure I qualify as a psychologists dream, or perhaps that should be nightmare?!
Fantasy is just a different reality-- real and I believe powerful as all thoughts are.
